System Construction’s Humanitarian Aid Support for Libya through the Turkish Red Crescent
An archived copy of the Turkish Red Crescent’s 2011 activity report records that System Construction donated food, hygiene and medical supplies, satellite communications equipment and two ambulances for people affected by the conflict in Libya.
The Turkish-flagged cargo vessel Kaptan Selim departed Istanbul’s Ambarlı Port for Misurata on 15 April 2011 as part of the Turkish Red Crescent’s humanitarian relief operation. The vessel arrived on 25 April, and the shipment was handed over to the Libyan Red Crescent on 26 April.
